Receiving the Geoff Walsh Memorial Scholarship was a great honour for me.

As a student in this day and age, balancing time involved in study and work to pay the bills is no easy feat.

This scholarship has been a game changer in assisting me with tuition fees going towards my Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in mechanical engineering.

This will help relieve pressure to find external sources of funding such as a part-time job, which will help me to focus more on studying towards my degree.

I am very grateful to have been awarded the Geoff Walsh Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship has given me more time and energy to focus on my studies and explore my passion for engineering. This includes allowing me to explore avenues of engineering that I’m interested in, such as personal design and build projects.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Heavy Vehicle Engineers Group for their generous support and the opportunities they have opened up for me through the Geoff Walsh Memorial Scholarship.
